Did you know that Finns are less susceptible to suffer from heart disease due to frequent visits to the sauna?
Sweating removes toxins from the body.

15 minutes in a sauna where the temperature is around 70 degrees is enough for the body to lose over 500 calories.

Finnish sauna is a room lined with wood where the air temperature is 80 – 95C, humidity 0-15% and that is why it is also called “Dry sauna”.

In the sauna there is always a stove on which the stones are heated which is occasionally watered with water to maintain humidity.

It is recommended to go to the sauna 3-4 times a week.

By attending a sauna and a salt room, you will achieve perfect results with the ANTI-CELLULITE MASSAGE package

By applying Ayurvedic cupping anti-cellulite treatment simultaneously with halotherapy, full body detox and anti-cellulite peeling is achieved.

Salt is rich in a variety of minerals that stimulate metabolism and circulation. Thus, the body stimulates the ‘drainage’ of excess fluid and the excretion of harmful substances, so the skin becomes firmer, safer, more supple…

Salt therapy promotes weight loss and eliminating cellulite, and is also very effective in treating damaged, sensitive and problematic skin.

Halotherapy is a balm for the soul due to a fact that is effective for treating various physical conditions and, at the same time, it is mind-refreshing.

BENEFITS OF SAUNAS

Saunas have a number of benefits for human health, mental and physical. Here is a list of benefits of using sauna:

HOW TO USE A SAUNA IN A PROPER MANNER

  • Do not eat before entering the sauna. The exceptions are foods that help detoxify the body.
  • Take a shower before using the sauna. Taking a shower is important for hygienic reasons
  • After taking a shower wipe thoroughly – it is not recommended to enter the sauna wet to make the sauna process as effective as possible
  • Do not use the sauna alone and always inform the staff that you are in the sauna.
  • During sauna, due to high temperature, blood vessels dilate (lowering the pressure), which can cause dizziness.
  • Do not use the sauna in a bathing suit, as this reduces the effectiveness of the sauna and there is a possibility of skin reaction due to the hot bathing suit
  • Remove all metal objects from yourself (jewelry, watch) as they can become very hot and leave burns on your body
  • Remove contact lenses or goggles if worn
  • Remove sunscreen and makeup
  • Be sure to sit or lie on a towel in the sauna. We recommend lying down. Sit for a few moments before the end of the sauna to avoid dizziness

HOW LONG TO STAY IN THE SAUNA

  • Use of the sauna should not last longer than 15 minutes
  • If you have been lying down in the sauna, sit for two minutes before leaving the sauna to avoid dizziness

RULES AFTER SAUNA

  • After using the sauna, be sure to take a shower with lukewarm water: first your arms and legs, then your torso and finally your head and face. Then take a cold shower. Do not use body wash shampoos because of the open pores on your body. This would allow the shampoo to enter your body through the pores. After that, wrap yourself in a warm towel and be sure to rest for 10 to 20 minutes
  • Be sure to replenish lost body fluids – drink plenty of water, herbal tea or natural juices, not alcohol. Wait 15 minutes to replenish the fluid from the sauna, because sweating will not keep the body fluid.
  • Leave the room when the body has cooled to the point where it no longer sweats
  • You enter the sauna at your own risk. If you have health problems, consult your doctor

DO NOT USE THE SAUNA IF:

  • you have problems with your heart, circulation or kidneys
  • you are pregnant
  • you have eaten heavy foods or consumed alcohol in the last hour and a half, unless you have consumed foods that help detoxify the body.
  • you feel bad and suffer from any health problems
  • you are a child under 16 year
